Shumboku Ōoka Galleries

Shumboku (1680-1763) received artistic training from the Kanō family of Japanese artists whose drawing style was strongly influenced by Chinese art. Many of Shumboku's pictures were published in woodblock-printed books. The titles of three of his books which included pictures of flowers and (or) birds are shown below.
